(www.inewsguyana.com) – The Guyana Defense Force has announced that
18891 Private Darel Prince, a Corentyne resident, died by drowning at approx 13:00 hours yesterday, Saturday October18 at the Colonel Robert Mitchell Jungle and Amphibious Training School.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Bartica Hospital.
Private Prince was a member of the Junior Leaders Course that had travelled to the School to undergo training there.
A Board of Inquiry was convened and the team is expected to travel to the location today.
