A serving Guyana Defense Force rank is now dead after an accident at Huston, East Bank Dmerara.
The rank has been identified as Travis Carrington. He was riding a motor cycle at the time of the incident before colliding into a motor car.
Carrington sustained serious head injuries as he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
Police are continuing their investigations.
