Four police officers injured after crashing into parked container

accident-sign[www.inewsguyana.com] – Four Police ranks operating out of the Brickdam Police Station were early Sunday morning rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital after they were involved in an accident.

iNews understands that the ranks, who were on duty at the time were traveling along the Friendship Public Road, East Bank Demerara when the vehicle crashed into a parked container which was on the side of the road.

Information reaching iNews stated that the container was poorly lighted.

When iNews visited the Georgetown Public Hospital this morning, doctors were tending to the four ranks, who are all in a conscious state.

Relatives of the injured were present at the hospital but according to police sources, the incident is not something to be alarmed about since the men all appear to be out of danger.
