[www.inewsguyana.com] – Over the next six hours, commencing from 11:00 this morning, continuing mainly cloudy to overcast skies can be expected over Regions 1 to 5 with moderate to heavy rain showers, weather forecasters have predicted.
Isolated thunderstorms are likely over some areas with occasional wind gusts.
Meanwhile, light to moderate intensity and a few heavy downpours can be expected between Regions 1 to 5. Other areas can expect scattered showers.
As with such and based on the progressions of this area of interest, there exist risks of water accumulations and/or flooding to be observed as soil becomes saturated within areas of Regions 1 to 5.
Rainfall is expected to range between 10.0 mm and 50.0 mm in areas between Regions 1 to 5 but there are chances that some areas may exceed this value.
