A fisherman is now missing and is feared dead after reportedly falling off a boat in the Corentyne River on Saturday.
The missing man has been identified as 28-year-old Avinash Dookie of Number 77 Village, Corentyne, Berbice.
Reports indicate that the man was attempting to start the engine while in a bent position, leaning over the side of the boat, when he fell overboard.
Investigations are ongoing.
