[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 17 – year – old girl of New Road Village, Essequibo Coast ended her life in very tragic circumstances just after noon today, October 18.
Reports indicate that the former Charity Secondary School student drank a large quantity of a poisonous substance. She was rushed to the Charity Hospital where she succumbed subsequently, family members wept openly.
According to reports, the teen was at the time experiencing difficulties within her family circle. Her passing has plunged the quiet village of New Road into a state of shock and sadness. Police are investigating the suicide.
