Duo accused of breaking into Cellphone Store granted bail

IMG_20140523_165932[www.inewsguyana.com] – Two men charged with break and enter and larceny committed on Cellular Plus Store, was placed on $100,000 bail each by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.

Jason Manbodh of Middle Street, South Cummings and Deon Gordon, 32 of Leopold Street, both pleaded not guilty to the charge, which alleged that between May 21 and 22 at Georgetown, they broke and entered the business place and stole $38,500.

Police Prosecutor Bharat Mangru opposed bail. Gordon was represented by Attorney – at – Law, George Thomas, who requested that his client be placed on reasonable bail. The duo will return to Court on June 28.
