Dr Ashni Singh has been sworn in as a senior minister in the Office of the President with responsibility for finance.
He was sworn in moments ago by President Dr Irfaan Ali.
According to the President, Dr Singh brings value and experience to the current team of ministers.
Dr Singh previously served as Finance Minister under the previous PPP/C Administration.
