The police are currently investigating the discovery of the body of a man found this morning at Drill, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
According to a police press statement issued this afternoon, the body of Kurt Burke, age 41, was found at about 0930h. today, Wednesday, January 27, 2016, on the main road at Drill with injuries suspected to have been caused through a hit-and-run accident.
The man’s body which was missing a hand and a foot was found near a damaged bicycle by passersby in the area.
