Twenty – Three – year old Andrew Burke of 5th Avenue Diamond Housing Scheme appeared before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell charged with assault and abusive language.
It is alleged that on June 20 at North Road Georgetown he assaulted Tomeka Forester and made use of abusive language.
Burke pleaded not guilty to both offences. The accused was not represented by an Attorney and was placed on $20,000 bail for the assault charge and $15,000 bail for the abusive language charge with his next court appearance set for July 10. [Royan Abrams]
