The body of an unidentified man was on Monday morning discovered in Kilmarnoc, Corentyne, Berbice in a partially deteriorated state.
While details remain sketchy, a senior police source confirmed that the dead man was found at about 03:30h on the village’s public road.
INews understands that the lifeless body bore marks of violence.
Moreover, this publication was told there was no indication that man was involved in a motor vehicle accident.
An investigation has been launched.
