[www.inewsguyana.com] – A senior citizen of North Ruimveldt, Georgetown was ordered to post $30,000 bail for stealing paints belonging to his daughter. Orin Chester pleaded not guilty to the charge which stated between October 3 and November 5 at North Ruimveldt, he stole three gallons of paint valued at 16,500 from Vanessa Sealey.
According to the police, the defendant lives in the same building with his daughter and is in the habit of stealing from her. In addition, the court was told that when the defendant was arrested he confessed to stealing the paint and claimed that it was to purchase food. There was no objection to bail and the case will return to court on November 18.
