Twenty – three – year old Jervaine Thomas and his cousin 21 – year – old Jerome Success both of East Ruimveldt Housing Scheme Georgetown were charged with accessory to murder on Monday August 5.
The duo appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Magistrate’s Court. The Court was told that Lloyd Britten aka Lloyden murdered Elvis Fernandes using a gun which was then handed to Thomas, who was told to give the weapon to Success.
Both men who were represented by Attorney-at-law Dexter Todd were not required to plead to the charge which they allegedly committed on July 26 in Georgetown. Based on the seriousness, prevalence and penalties attached to the offence the Magistrate remanded both men until September 05. [Royan Abrams]
