Police are investigating the alleged Murder committed on Gladwin Daniels, a 40-year-old Construction Worker of Lot 31 Goed Fortuin (public road), West Bank Demerara, which occurred at about 00:30 hours this morning (Monday, September 29th, 2025) at Goed Fortuin, allegedly by two suspects.
Investigations so far revealed that the victim was consuming alcohol at a birthday party at Goed Fortuin squatting area when two suspects called out to him on the road, and after he went to meet them, an argument ensued, and he was stabbed in the neck by one of the suspects. Daniels collapsed and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The two suspects were arrested and escorted to La Grange Police Station, where they were placed into custody, assisting with the investigation.
