The Government of Guyana in collaboration with China is offering a limited number of scholarships in China at the Master’s Degree level for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Applicants are invited from suitably qualified persons for consideration in the following fields of study:
- Clinical Medicine (MD) – Undergraduate
- Veterinary Medicine (DVM.) – Undergraduate
- Civil Material & Structure Engineering (MEng.) – Postgraduate
- Hydraulic & Hydro-Power Engineering (MEng.) – Postgraduate
- Structural Engineering (MEng.) – Postgraduate
Key Eligibility Requirements for Undergraduate Porgrammes
- Applicants must be 25 years or under at the time of application and a holder of a valid Guyanese Passport
- A minimum of five (5) subjects at the Caribbean Secondary Examination Council (CSEC) level inclusive of English Language and Mathematics with Grades I or II.
- For Clinical Medicine – Applicants must have a minimum of two (2) subjects at the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) level (Years 1 & 2) inclusive of Chemistry, Physics or Biology with Grades I or II, an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with a GPA of 3.0.
Closing date for submission of applications is November 21, 2025.
