Businesswoman charged with abusive language

A businesswoman appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore to answer the charge of abusive language.

Thirty – four – year old Nicola Austin of 73 Durban Street Georgetown pleaded not guilty to the offence. It is alleged that on June 27 at Durban Street; Austin made use of abusive language against Laura Gilgeous.

The Police Prosecutor did not object to bail and the Magistrate granted the accused bail in the sum of $20,000 and she is to return to court on July 24. [Royan Abrams]
