Despite the addition of two new ticket outlets in Essequibo and Berbice, long lines once again wrapped around the building at 233-234 Camp Street on Wednesday morning, as enthusiastic fans queued up for Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) playoff and final tickets.

Tickets for this year’s highly anticipated knockout matches went on sale earlier in the day and were met with a rush. Some patrons reported arriving as early as 9:30 AM on Tuesday to secure their spot in line.

To ensure fair access, there are purchase limits in place: each person can buy a maximum of four tickets for the final, up to ten tickets for Eliminator 1 and Qualifier 1, and six tickets for Qualifier 2.

Tickets are also available at G & P Jaigobin & Son Supermarket (Tract B, Anna Regina, Essequibo Coast) from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and at Spready’s in Port Mourant, Berbice from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The Essequibo outlet will sell tickets while supplies last, while the Berbice location will operate for two days only.

Additionally, the Amazon Warriors Box Office at Camp Street is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturdays.

The Republic Bank CPL kicks off today, August 14, with a match between the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots and the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons at Warner Park, St. Kitts. The tournament arrives in Guyana on September 6, headlined by a blockbuster clash between the Guyana Amazon Warriors and the Trinbago Knight Riders.

For the fourth consecutive year, Guyana will host the playoffs and final. The Massy Women’s CPL will also take place at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence, East Bank Demerara, from September 6 to 17.
