Berbice man found hanging from rope around neck

The body of a man was found hanging from a rope around the neck in the veranda of his East Canje, Berbice home.

Dead is  Khemraj Atomdeo, 53, of Lot 45 West Canefield, East Canje, Berbice. He was found by his brother Kamaldeo Atomdeo. According to reports, the dead man’s brother  Kamaldeo Atomdeo said that he  got out of bed and was preparing to open his shop on the bottom flat of the house when a villager told him that his brother was hanging in the veranda.

The father of one spent 18 years overseas and returned to Guyana recently.
