Appeal Court has no jurisdiction to hear APNU/AFC’s Motion – Justice Rishi Persaud

The Court of Appeal has no jurisdiction to hear the motion filed by Eslyn David, seeking to block the Guyana Elections Commission from declaring the results of the 2020 General and General Elections.

This position was handed down by Justice Rishi Persaud, who struck out the motion.

Yet to deliver their ruling are Justices Brassington Reynolds and Dawn Gregory.
