Ammo, rifle found; seven arrested

The police have arrested seven men in connection with the discovery of a .44 Harrington and Richardson telescopic rifle with 38 rounds

and a .32 Taurus pistol with 7 rounds.

According to the police, at about 12:30h today Monday September 09, police ranks stopped and searched an F150 motor pick-up at

Yarrowkabra, Soesdyke/Linden Highway, in which the items were found. The seven men, who were in the pick – up are assisting with the

investigations.
