Negotiations are being finalised for the establishment of all-inclusive resorts in the country, President Dr Irfaan Ali has announced.

He made the revelation today during a Peoples Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) manifesto consultation.

President Ali has long emphasised the need for more luxury resort-type facilities in the country.

This is one of the plans it will be pursuing during the party’s next term in office.

Guyana’s tourism industry has rapidly expanded over the years.
