Some 22.2lbs of marijuana and 1.25lbs of cocaine were this morning seized by the police from a vessel at Port Kaituma Waterfront, Region One (Barima-Waini) during an intelligence-led operation.
Five men, who were onboard the vessel, were arrested and taken into custody as investigations continue.
The suspected narcotics were weighed, sealed and lodged at the Port Kaituma Police Station in the presence of the suspects.
Investigations are ongoing.
