The Ministry of Natural Resources, through the Guyana Gold Board (GGB), hereby informs miners, traders, and the general public of the licensed gold dealers authorised to operate for 2026.
Legal Authority
Pursuant to Section 9(1) of the Guyana Gold Board Act, Cap. 66:01, and Regulation 4(3) of the Guyana Gold Board (Dealers) Regulations No. 4 of 1997, the Guyana Gold Board is empowered to authorise individuals and entities to possess, sell or export gold, subject to conditions determined by the Board.
Such authorisation is granted through the issuance of an Authorisation to Possess, Sell or Export Gold (Dealer’s Licence). Entities granted this authorisation are recognised as licensed gold dealers and are required to operate strictly within the applicable legal and regulatory framework.
