3 warded at Suddie Hospital for poisoning

Three men are still hospitalised at the Suddie Public Hospital in Region Two (Pomeroon/Supenaam), after coming into contact with various poisonous substances. QuickSign_S1111
A man in his mid-fifties was admitted after he ingested a quantity of poisonous substance on Sunday night. He was taken to the hospital by relatives.
Meanwhile, a 29-year-old from Huis t’Dieren is also hospitalised after he inhaled a poisonous substance while spraying his rice field. According to a Guyana Times report, the man has  denied consuming the substance.
A 21-year-old from Pomona Housing Scheme is also a patient at the Suddie hospital after he ingested poison. According to reports, the young man, who was having some ‘relationship troubles’, consumed the substance.
