25,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccine arrive in Guyana

A total of 25,000 doses of the Sputnik V vaccine from Russia has arrived at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport onboard the Kalitta Charters II.

This is the first batch of vaccines to arrive out of the 200,000 doses the Government purchased. The Sputnik V is the first registered COVID-19 vaccine.
