Guyana has recorded 23 new Covid-19 cases, which takes the total confirmed cases to date to 5943.
There are eight persons in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 45 persons in institutional isolation, 657 persons in home isolation, and 22 persons in institutional quarantine.
The death toll now stands at 156 while the recoveries are 5077.
