A 16-year-old Lindener, who appeared at the Linden Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, charged with the offence of rape, was granted $100,000 bail.
The teen appeared before Magistrate Clive Nurse. It is alleged that the teenager, who hails from Half Mile, Wismar in Linden is accused of having engaged in the sexual penetration of a 13-year-old female on July 9 at Half Mile.
The case will continue on September 29.
