Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident which occurred about 1030h. on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, on the Hope Public Road, ECD, and which resulted in the death of Kevin Neuenkirk, of Victoria, ECD.
According to a police media release, investigations have revealed that Kevin Neuenkirk, 27, was driving a motor cycle, allegedly at a fast rate, along the roadway when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a mini bus that was travelling in the opposite direction.
He received injuries and was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was pronounced DOA.
INews understands that the driver of the mini bus is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
