[www.inewsguyana.com] – The United Stated Embassy in Georgetown will on Saturday host a concert at the Promenade Gardens featuring Grammy nominated Group Della Mae and several local musicians.
Della Mae is an all-female blue grass band and the concert is part of an American festival called ‘Meet Me in St. Louis’ and will feature American food and music.
The US based band will be involved in a number of activities while in Guyana. The programme will offer Guyanese insight into the unique components of America’s musical and cultural diversity through live performances, lectures, and workshops.
