Minister of Home Affairs Oneidge Walrond today announced the launch of the upgraded Immigration Support Services eServices Platform — a key commitment fulfilled by His Excellency, President Dr. Irfaan Ali.
“This new digital platform makes it easy for everyone to access a wide range of immigration services online, including visas, extensions, amendments, cancellations, and transfers, all from their own devices,” the minister said in a social media post.
“This launch brings us closer to faster, more transparent, and accessible public services for every Guyanese, no matter where they are,” she added.
Accessible at eservices.iss.gov.gy, the digital portal represents a major upgrade in how the Government of Guyana delivers essential services.
By reducing paperwork and streamlining approvals, the system is designed to improve speed, transparency, and accessibility for all.
Minister Walrond emphasised that this achievement reflects the vision of ensuring public services meet the demands of a modern, digital first economy. “This is about making life easier for every Guyanese, at home and abroad, while also ensuring efficiency and accountability in our immigration systems,” the Minister stated.
The platform supports multiple service categories, including:
•Visitor, Employment, Business, and Student Visas (new applications and extensions)
•Landing Permits for various purposes
•Online tools for amendments, cancellations, and transfers
This initiative signals Guyana’s commitment to harnessing technology for national development.
