[www.inewsguyana.com] – At about 05: 30h, today Sunday June 15, the body of Mustak Alli, 51 years, of Annandale South, ECD, was found on the roadway at Courbane Park, ECD. The body is at the Lyken Funeral Parlour awaiting a PME.
A man has been arrested and an abandoned motor vehicle seized as the investigations continue.
Also, investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred at about 15:00h, yesterday Saturday June 14, on the De Willem Public Road, WCD, and which resulted in the death of pedal cyclist Imran Mohamed, 56 years, of De Willem.
The investigations have so far revealed that Imran Mohamed attempted to cross the roadway on his bicycle and was struck down by a motor lorry. He was admitted to the GPHC where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
