The police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 17:15h yesterday, Saturday July 13 on the Parika Public Road, East Bank Essequibo.
Dead is 32 – year – old motor cyclist Gavin Renville, of Tuschen Housing Scheme, EBE.
According to the police, investigations have revealed that Gavin Renville was driving his motor cycle along the roadway, when he collided with the rear of a motor car that was proceeding in the same direction and received injuries.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Leonora Cottage Hospital. The driver of the motor car is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
