Tourism in Kopinang Village boosted with Govt-funded catwalk

0

Kopinang Village, nestled in the deep forests of the North Pakaraimas in Region Eight (Potaro-Siparuni), has experienced a boost in tourism infrastructure with the construction of a new catwalk.

Funded by the Government of Guyana through the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs, the project significantly improves accessibility and safety for visitors to the local tourism site.

As many as four scenic waterfalls can be visited during a getaway to Kopinang, all of which are accessible by a cool jungle trek, mountain hike, or thrilling ATV ride. While visitors usually opt to visit the Kopinang Falls and Wailang Palu Falls, they can also get the opportunity to splash around at Orinduik Falls and Kamana Falls.
