‘This is all we have left’..the aftermath of the Tucville fire

A fire suspected to be electrical in origin completely ravaged two houses in a family yard at Tucville, Georgetown last evening, leaving at least 12 persons homeless.

The two houses located at Lot 3 Tucville Squatting Area were completely destroyed while another in the same yard had extensive water damage. Reports reaching INews stated that at about 8pm the fire started in the 3rd building in the yard.

Those affected told INews today that they are trying to put the recent tragedy behind them and move on with getting back their lives on track.

An investigation has been launched into the fire.
