18-year-old Akelo Nurse of Independence Boulevard was on Saturday around 21:15h busted with an unlicenced pistol with no rounds.
According to the police, ranks were conducting a mobile patrol in Charlestown, Georgetown when nurse was arrested.
He has since been charged and is expected for court on Tuesday.
