The George Subraj Family Foundation has donated $209 million to support advancements in medical care through a joint venture with Northwell Health.

This philanthropic investment will enhance cardiac care in both Guyana’s public healthcare system and in Richmond Hill, Queens, where there is a large Guyanese diaspora community.

The donation was announced during a brief ceremony at the Guyana Marriott Hotel on Monday.

The ceremony was attended by President Dr Irfaan Ali and Health Minister Dr Frank Anthony.
