[www.inewsguyana.com] – Sparta Boss is still undefeated after day five of competition on Thursday, November 27 when the Guinness ‘Greatness of the Streets’ continued at the National Culture Centre tarmac.

Castello’s Sherman Anthony scored in the sixth minute before Sheldon Shepherd equalised in the ninth minute while Cleon Forrester scored in the 12th minute to put Sparta Boss ahead before halftime as the game eventually ended on 2-1.

Stevedore Housing Scheme ‘A’ and Leopold Street scored 1-nil victories over Albouystown ‘B’ and South Sophia respectively.

In other results, teams winning by penalty kicks were South Ruimveldt 2-0 against Riverview, Cross Street won 3-2 against Charlestown, Festival City Street Fighters defeated Bent Street 2-0 and Queens Street Tigerbay lost 2-0 to North Ruimveldt.

Meanwhile, one game had to be abandoned between Broad Street Bullies and East La Penitence due to unsportsmanlike conduct after the players almost engaged in a physical confrontation. Luckily that was not the case.

Both teams were disqualified from the tournament.
