Salvation Army to donate over 1200 food hampers to less fortunate

As a part of its annual drive, the Salvation Army says it will donate food hampers exceeding 1200 to the less fortunate in the spirit of the Christmas season.

The non-profit organisation will be distributing those hampers tomorrow (Monday) at Salvation Army Georgetown Citadel, on Alexander Street in Lacytown.

Last year, the organisation teamed up with First Lady, Sandra Granger, and the Minister of Social Protection Mrs. Volda Lawrence to bring cheer to over 300 senior citizens with the distribution of over 1500 Christmas food hampers to senior citizens.
