[www.inewsguyana.com] – Popular American R&B singer, songwriter and record producer R. Kelly has arrived in Guyana ahead of his concert set for tomorrow, October 19, at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence.
The singer who has been lauded as the ‘King of R&B’ touched down on Friday October 18 at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) at about 16:00hrs.
He is the headline act for tomorrow’s concert Touted as ‘Night of Legends’. Among the other acts for the night are: Jamaican Reggae Group Morgan Heritage, Trinidadian Chutney Singer KI, Kes the Band and Karma also out of Trinidad.
R. Kelly was originally slated to headline the Jamzone International line up in August, but reportedly fell ill following his tour of South Africa.
