President of Fruta Conquerors Football Club, Martin Massiah recently visited SM Jaleel & Company Ltd (SMJ) – the manufacturers of Fruta juices in Trinidad for +40 years and the largest manufacturer of non-alcoholic beverages in the English-speaking Caribbean.
The visit marked a new chapter in a remarkable 3-decade partnership, the longest club sponsorship in Guyana’s football history.
Massiah met with a distinguished delegation from SMJ, including Vice President – Marketing, Gary Dixon; Senior Group Category Manager, Reisha Ramnarine-Lewis and Group Public Relations Manager, Rae-Ann Clement Harper.
He thanked the company for its enduring support and presented his bold vision for the future of Fruta Conquerors FC, one focused on developing young men, women, and children through football, mentorship, and community upliftment.
The SMJ team expressed confidence in Massiah’s passion and direction for the club. They welcomed his renewed focus on women and youth development and shared their enthusiasm for the successful rollout of initiatives that will benefit these groups in meaningful ways.
This ongoing partnership is also strengthened by the visionary local support of Samuel Arjoon, General Manager of Guyana Beverages Inc., whose leadership continues to ensure Fruta’s lasting impact on football development in Guyana.
