US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived in Guyana just after 17:00hrs on Thursday at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA).
His visit will focus on the United States’ commitment to defend democracy and combat COVID-19, while revitalising economies in the pandemic’s wake, and strengthen security against regional threats.
