[www.inewsguyana.com] – A man was moments ago rushed to the Diamond Diagnostic Center in a critical condition, following an accident with his motorbike and a car at Friendship, East Bank Demerara.
The driver of the car reportedly fled the scene.
The injured man was identified as police officer. Eyewitnesses told iNews that the policeman was heading in the direction of Georgetown on his bike, while the car PPP 3299 was turning into the Gas Station, when the two collided.
The police officer reportedly ended up in a nearby trench, where it is suspected he hit his head on a GWI pipe.
