[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police have established the identity of the man whose body was found on the Georgetown Seawalls Foreshore on Wednesday (December 4) as 53 – year – old Andrew Erskine of Fourth Avenue, Subryanville, Georgetown.
The body was found on the seawall behind the Criminal Investigation Department around noon.
According to reports the man’s body bore marks of violence on the hands and side. His genitals were also severed.
iNews was informed that the bruises on the man’s body are not many but they are consistent with those inflicted on someone during a violent encounter.
The source said that the man’s body was fresh indicating that he may have been dumped at the location before sunrise on Wednesday.
