Police destroy ‘ganja’ field at Imbaimadai

Ranks of the Guyana Police Force yesterday (Thursday) conducted a drug eradication operation at Imbaimadai, Upper Mazaruni, during which a half-acre field of cannabis sativa (marijuana) plants was found and destroyed.
The field comprised about 300 plants at an average height of 30cm. A camp was also found and destroyed.
The Police, in a statement this morning, said no arrest has been made so far.
