A post mortem examination (PME) is scheduled today for 20-year-old Hemchand Dalchand, called “Rakesh”, of Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara (ECD), whose body was found lying in a pool of blood, with several wounds, on the Oleander Gardens Public Road, ECD, on Saturday at about 18:00hrs.
Police who are investigating the apparent murder said that Dalchand’s body was found without a jersey and footwear which he had been wearing when he left his home.
The man, who was said to be unemployed, was last seen alive on Saturday, when he reportedly left his home in the company of some female friends to attend an entertainment show at the Ogle Community Centre.
