City Magistrate, Judy Latchman on Monday sentenced a 27-year-old Prashad Nagar resident to serve four years in prison on a charge of sexually assaulting a teenager.
Michael Sampson- who identified himself as a personal trainer- was found guilty of the charge when he appeared before Magistrate Latchman at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The court heard that on February 19, 2018, at his Delhi Street, Prashad Nagar, Georgetown home, he abused his authority as a personal trainer and touched a 14-year-old girl inappropriately about her body.
The matter was reported to the police after the child confided in her parents.
