[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – year – old Taxi Driver, Ramesh Persaud is battling for his life after he was shot in the head last night, Saturday, November 15 at Boeraserie, East Bank Essequibo.
According to police information, at about 21:00hrs, Persaud of Parika, East Bank Essequibo, was hired by a man at the Parika Car Park and along the way, another man joined the vehicle.
He was shot along the roadway at Boeraserie and the men escaped. The motive for the shooting is unclear. Persaud has been admitted to hospital for medical treatment.
