[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 04:00h today Tuesday March 11 on the Goed Fortuin Public Road, West Bank Demerara and which resulted in the death of Jomal Archer, 16 years, of Pouderoyen, West Bank Demerara.
Investigations have revealed that the motor vehicle was proceeding along the roadway, allegedly at a fast rate, when the driver lost control and the car slammed into a utility pole.
Jomal Archer `and two other occupants were taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital where Jomal Archer was pronounced dead on arrival, while the others were admitted.
The driver is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
