[www.inewsguyana.com] – One person is now dead and three others seriously injured following an early morning accident (December 27) on the Tempe Public Road, West Coast Berbice.
iNews understands that the car crashed into a utility pole after the driver lost control. They were on their way to Georgetown at the time of the accident.
Dead is Cindy Singh, 24, of Diamond New Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara.
Injured are: the Driver, Ryan Richards, 19 years; Tricia Ross, 35 years and Ryan Hookumchand, 25 years, all of Diamond New Housing Scheme.
Singh was pronounced Dead on arrival at the Fort Wellington Hospital, while the others have been hospitalised.
Reports indicate that the family were visiting relatives in Berbice and were earlier hanging out at the Te Amo Entertainment Park in Onverwagt, West Coast Berbice.
