[www.inewsguyana.com] – Thirty – eight – year old Marlon Ford was killed in an accident on Friday morning, when the vehicle he was travelling in crashed into another.
The accident occurred at the Coverden Public Road, East Bank Demerara. Information reaching iNews revealed that Ford was a passenger in hire car HC 4030, when the driver swerved into the path of another hire car, which was travelling into the opposite direction.
Ford was seated behind the driver of the ill-fated car along with a female passenger, who sustained minor injuries as a result of the impact. The driver was rushed to the Diamond Hospital after suffering a fractured right leg.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured and is said to be assisting the police in their investigations.
